Call for Entry

The Art Guild of Rural Texas was established in 2003 to augment art programs in the local rural schools and to provide programs for children and adults in the community. Its reach has now expanded to provide art experiences to schools in several counties. The Art Guild board and members are committed to bringing the same high quality of visual and performing arts programs to our rural areas that are available in urban areas. We touch lives and expose individuals to all aspects of the arts. Through the art of music, the visual arts, drama and more, we are committed to making a difference in those lives we touch.

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must create 100% of all work displayed. Unacceptable items are: Imported work of any type, any work created by a person other than the exhibitor, "Art on a Stick" of any kind, greenware pottery, sculpture from molds, mass-produced factory art and jewelry, and any other items deemed by the Director to not fall within the spirit of our requirements.

Each exhibitor is responsible for the sale of his/her work and must be present during the entire show. Prices must be clearly displayed on all items. There are no commissions charged by the organizers on any sales. Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting the appropriate sales tax. Information is available through the Texas State Comptroller.

No reproductions may be hung on the walls and all must be labeled as a reproduction. Photographers should make every effort to limit their works to displaying on the wall with a limited number of display bins in the booth. (Backup should be kept neatly behind the booth.)
